The introduction paragraph is an essential part of any essay. It introduces the topic, question or issue that your essay will tackle and explains your viewpoint.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They offer an added benefit or effect when the equipment in use. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as an incentive, or even created by crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects as well as offering bonus points for attributes.
Infusions, inscriptions and enhancements are a type of upgrade components. They aren't generally available for general use and can only be used on equipment that has been elevated or on certain weapons that are not ascending from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be recovered from equipment using an Infusion Extraction Device or salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Like other upgrade products Phoenix Boxes are able to be traded while still connected to the item they are upgrading, and are able to be used again after being reclaimed. These upgrade items can be used to boost the quality of armor and weapon, without spending Dilithium. They can double the chances that the item will be upgraded to a top quality upgrade.
A component that is upgraded in an item can be replaced with a different one but it is not able to replace the previous one (except for upgrades to ascended equipment and legendaries). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or higher can have upgrade components added to them. The addition of an upgrade to a weapon that is already equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the new item as it would appear in game (for instance adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at any one time.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a great accessory to any item. They provide unique benefits and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes attached to an item, increasing its overall power. These glyphs can be obtained through the dungeons and some be found in certain World Tier 3 areas. It is important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character that has not been able to create an area of root dungeons of the same size.
To use a Glyph first, you need to create it using components and connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph from components, you can build it by using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element close to the highlighted component to secure it.
Some glyphs have conditions to meet, such as having 25 Dexterity or more in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some require a specific number of Primary Stat nodes to activate and can be a challenge to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
Glyphs are available for many different items and can be added to all weapons, with the exception for weapons belonging to a particular class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional conditions, such as the requirement for a certain amount of Dexterity damage or attack damage in a particular part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph increases the chance of preventing enemy attacks by 5%. It also has an opportunity to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Certain glyphs can also be applied to restricted use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs, which increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that employ weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph renders enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that can be used to reroll one of the results rolled while performing an Action. After the reroll is completed they are discarded. Reroll tokens are obtained in several ways, including through raids, dungeons and skirmishes. They can also be bought at the store or purchased from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, because they let players play a reroll of rewards from the end chest.
Recycle point values are provided for items at the level 1. item upgrades will grow by a certain amount of points each time you recycle an item. This number is determined by the rarity of the item as well as its level. The upgraded item will also not retain its level if rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases as its level increases.

Alternately, players can use reroll tokens to roll an upgrade item again however, this won't return the item to its original level or provide the original statistics. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item they aren't happy with, but would like to keep it in their collection.
Three kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game: Reroll, randomly generated and upgrade. Each type has a few subtypes. Reroll tokens for instance come in three levels: rare, legendary and enhanced. Each requires an item from the appropriate level to create a new item with the same quality.
To use tokens that reroll choose "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select the type of token. The tokens that are available include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. Using an Item token will result in an entirely new Item of any kind. Utilizing an item token or a Weapon or Misc token will result in an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.
There is also a chance that the item will be upgraded into a new item with more level and same stats. This will occur if the item has been placed in the Pool that is not droppable or if it was transferred there as part of the franchise card.
